How review hardware, event travel, and sponsor relationships work on NZ Tech Podcast.
At NZ Tech Podcast we love experiencing new technology, business models, consumer electronics, cars, and the like. To make that coverage possible, we're often provided with hardware, software, services so we can experience them, review them, or discuss them on the podcast. Access may be short-term, long-term, or permanent. From time to time we also attend conferences and events, locally and internationally, which may be paid in part or in full by the event organiser, sponsor or host city.
Receiving products, travel, or access from vendors does not come with any agreement about the tone of our coverage. What we say about a product, in an audio review or otherwise, is solely at our discretion. On rare occasions, confidentiality around unreleased products may limit what we can disclose ahead of an announcement. Sometimes products we've been given are made available as giveaways to the audience.
