As interesting as your interview was you left out the one burning question that we all want to know the answer to…what happened to IPV5?

I just had the “you have all these Windows errors” scam, my father was going through with it on his Windows XP computer, he had the installer file for the “Remote Control Software” so that “Microsoft” can “fix your computer” on the screen… who the hell knows what would have happened had he given them control… all kinds of malware…input recording software installed to phone home over time…

It really is important to warn non Tech people about these problems, thank you!

I used the “Sir, are you in New Zealand? Where abouts are you… “uhhhh… Auckland…we are in Auckland…” … “ok what is the time in your area?”

His reply was “Sir, we do not have the clock on, I will ask”, he shouted and clapped his hands or something, “HEY, what is the time!!!”, and a few seconds later came back with the correct NZ time. I asked them why he could not simply look at the bottom right corner of his Windows running computer…since he WAS in Auckland, New Zealand, right?

My bet is that more than one person was listening/recording our call, that they had heard people challenge them before, and they scrambled to get the time, ” time in NZ ” into Google 🙂

I enjoy your show, but am constantly amused at your Pro Microsoft slanting 🙂 IE, “Windows 8 is incredible, totally new interface”, yet OSX Lion is “nothing new…they claim 250 new features…HEY, they’ve taken away physical media releases! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! Just like they took away my floppy drive back in 1998, those BASTARDS!” 🙂

Its great to hear fellow NZ voices, I’m a cohost of the Patriotcast, originally about Metal Gear Solid, since evolving to general tech news. We have a friend at E3 who has been joining us for episodes each day, he’s waited hours in line to play the “Wii U” and “PS Vita”, its great fun 🙂
