Hi Rick

Just been thru this my self. This is what i did as a trial and it worked on Apple TV 2.
Signed up at unblock-us.com for 7 day trial, entered the DNS settings they gave me on my laptop first for their verification, then in the apple TV. Rebooted ATV and netflix appeared. Signed up to Nextflix free trial. Everything worked very smoothly.

Fantastic show, love the local content and very well put together. Quick question, it’s a small thing but annoys the heck out of me. I use Doggcatcher to listen to your shows on my Samsung Galaxy S2 (its an absolute rocket ship). On my Feeds wall the NZ Tech Podcast latest Published date always shows “4 months ago”, whereas all my other feeds always update and show the latest published date accurately. All settings for all feeds are the same, I have deleted and reloaded the feed but still no change. All of your latest podcasts are there and in latest first date order?

Any thoughts?

First up, love your podcast on my nexus when I’m bored at work.

I did want to say that I feel your opinions of android are rather harsh, especially when security is concerned. Obviously Malware(or male-ware:) isn’t an issue for the majority of android users, or with such a large user base it would be all over the news(and no I dont mean a report from an antivirus vendor releases a report showing all the malware its found). And to start with, every application has a list of of things it is allowed to do before the user installs it.

You state that an Android phone would not be good for a business, or even allowed on a business network. If your were making an app to be used on a mobile device then Android is an obvious choice, no fees for developing, cheaper handsets and sideloading apps are a few of the advantages.

Also, installing Antivirus software on your android? crazy. yes a “rouge” app could steal your personal data at worst but not crash your phone or delete your system folder. And lets not forget that you must allow it to read your data in the first place..

OK I think my rant is over, would like to hear your thoughts.

Please dont take this as Hate mail, I admit I am an android fan boy from way back as you could probably guess..
