I spent a bit of time arguing with this episode! … Not convinced you considered the Nexus 7 or Q properly … surely they’re about the content that increasingly we’re watching and consuming on mobile devices. The Nexus 7 doesn’t seem to try and compete with the iPad, it looks more like trying to do what the Kindle Fire attempted (which is a direct link to content).
I also don’t think Project Glass is for the future. It does everything we already are capable of, it is just an entirely new interface. The comparison should be to iOS and the touch interface Apple got so very right that is transforming the manner in which the world interfaces with technology. Project Glass will be the same.
Google+ Seems to me as though it is an attempt to compete with Facebook but the approach is do what Facebook doesn’t do, or does really badly. And when they do (Google hangouts, circles, etc) they do it brilliantly.
HOWEVER provoking a response is great … just a shame nobody seemed to be taking my side! Keep up the podcast, love it!
